(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천서구문화재단이 오는 23일 오후 7시 30분께, 인천서구문화회관 대공연장에서 2026년 신년음악회 ‘Fly High Seogu!’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

서구문화재단에 따르면, 이번 신년음악회는 올해 7월 서구 행정체제 개편을 앞두고 ‘인천 서구’라는 이름으로 열리는 마지막 신년음악회로, 서구민과 지역 기관·단체·기업, 지역 예술인 등이 한자리에 모여 지난 시간을 돌아보고 새로운 도약을 기원하는 자리로 마련됐다.

공연 1부는 서구에서 활동하는 민간 오케스트라인 노을 오케스트라의 연주로 시작된다. 

요한 슈트라우스 2세의 ‘박쥐’ 서곡을 시작으로 ‘아름답고 푸른 도나우’, ‘트리치-트라치 폴카’ 등 신년음악회에 어울리는 경쾌하고 화사한 곡들을 선보인다. 

이어 서구 청년들로 구성된 합창단 문콰이어가 뮤지컬 알라딘의 대표곡 ‘A Whole New World’를, 메조소프라노 신현선이 ‘Nella Fantasia’와 ‘사랑의 찬가’를 노래하며 마무리한다.

공연 2부는 전통타악팀 아작의 신년 대북 퍼포먼스로 힘차게 막을 올린다. 

이어 서구립소년소녀합창단이 ‘라데츠키 행진곡’과 ‘성자들의 행진’을, 서구립합창단이 뮤지컬 모차르트의 대표곡 ‘황금별’을 선보이며 희망찬 새해의 분위기를 이어간다.

무대의 피날레는 서구립합창단, 서구립소년소녀합창단, 서구립풍물단 등 3개 서구립예술단이 함께하는 합동공연 ‘아리랑’으로 장식된다. 

세대를 아우르는 대합창을 통해 지역 공동체의 화합과 미래를 상징적으로 표현할 예정이다. 

마지막으로 뮤지컬 배우 민우혁이 대중의 사랑을 받는 뮤지컬 갈라 무대를 선보이며 신년음악회의 대미를 장식한다.

공연과 연계한 부대 프로그램으로는 1월 20일부터 1월 25일까지 인천서구문화회관 전시장에서 ‘서구작가 신년 전시’가 열린다. 

서구 지역작가 50명의 작품을 한자리에서 선보이는 기획전으로, 지역 미술의 현재와 미래 가능성을 조망하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.

인천서구문화재단 관계자는 “2026년 신년음악회는 분구를 앞둔 시점에서 ‘인천 서구’라는 이름으로 함께하는 마지막 신년음악회”라며, “서구의 문화적 정체성과 공동체의 의미를 되새기고, 지역 예술인과 구민이 함께 새로운 출발을 기념하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.

한편, 2026년 신년음악회 ‘Fly High Seogu!’는 전석 무료 공연으로 진행된다.
