(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 5일,  2025년도 고향사랑기부제 모금액이 2억2천만원을 돌파하며 당초 목표액을 초과 달성했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 총 2천330명이 기부해 2억2천9백만원이 모금됐으며, 이는 당초 목표액인 1억7천5백만원 대비 131% 초과 달성한 수치이다.

부평구는 지난해 기부자의 접근성을 높이고 전문적인 홍보를 위해 민간플랫폼 ‘위기브’를 도입했다. 

또, 기부 참여 활성화를 위해 사회관계망(SNS) 이벤트 진행, 부평풍물대축제 홍보부스 운영, 지역 내 기업 및 단체와의 협력 확대 등 다양한 홍보 활동을 펼쳤다.

특히, 부평구만의 특색을 담아낸 41개의 다양한 답례품을 운영하며 기부자들의 선택 폭을 넓혔다.

부평구 관계자는 “부평구를 응원하는 마음으로 고향사랑기부제에 동참해 주신 모든 분께 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “기부금은 기부자와 주민 모두가 공감할 수 있는 사업에 소중하게 사용하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 부평구는 올해 고향사랑기금을 활용해 지정기부사업 1건(취약계층 아동 문화·예술 지원) 및 일반기부사업 6건(걷다보니 부평 워킹투어, 장애아동 수영교실, 자립준비청년 자격증 취득을 위한 수강료 지원, 부평구 장난감 수리점 운영, 재해대책 양수기 및 수방자재 구입, 인천나비공원 체험 프로그램 및 문화 행사 추진) 등 총 7개의 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
