(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천연구원이 구랍 12월 23일 정기이사회에서 의결한 조직개편과 2026년 1월 1일과 1월 5일자 보직인사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.  

 인천연구원에 따르면, 먼저 조직개편은 경제환경연구부를 경제산업연구부와 환경안전연구부로 분리하여 연구부서의 전문성을 강화하고, 원장 직속으로 운영되던 탄소중립연구･지원센터 등 4개의 센터를 부원장 직속으로 이관하여 센터 운영체계를 일원화했다.

이번 조직개편은, 연구부서의 전문성에 기반한 성과관리체계를 개선하고, 연구부서와 센터 간 유기적 협력을 통한 조직운영 효율성을 강화하는 데 초점을 맞추었다.

1월 1일자 새로 임명된 보직자는 연구기획실장 채은경, 도시사회연구부장 최영화, 경제산업연구부장 서봉만, 도시공간연구부장 기윤환, 환경안전연구부장 김성우, 인천탄소중립연구･지원센터장 권전오 등이다. 

한편, 공개 채용을 통해 경영지원실장으로 이근천 인천광역시 전 도시철도건설본부장을 1월 5일자 임용한다.

신임 채은경 연구기획실장은 “인천연구원의 핵심사업인 시정 연구와 자문뿐만 아니라, 연구부서와 인천시 실국 매칭을 통한 소통채널 구축, 현장을 찾아가 시민들과 접촉점을 늘려가는 현장동행 정책대화, 인천지역 내 주요 기관장들이 참여하는 인천경제 혁신전략 원탁회의 등 시정･지역사회･시민과 긴밀하게 협업하는 연구사업을 꾸준히 펼쳐가겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
