(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 지난 6일 북부교육문화센터에서 지역아동센터 어린이들을 초청해 ‘손끝에서 피어나는 빛과 글’ 캘리그라피 문화체험 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

공단에 따르면, 이번 프로그램은 문화예술 활동을 접할 기회가 많지 않은 어린이들에게 창의적 예술 경험을 제공하고, 활동을 통한 정서적 안정과 자기표현 능력 향상을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 

교육문화팀 직원들은 자발적으로 참여해 차량 이동 지원, 행사 운영 보조, 아동 안전관리 등 전 과정을 함께했다.

체험은 캘리그라피 글씨 연습, 청사초롱 만들기 등 두 가지 활동으로 구성됐다. 

캘리그라피 수업은 북부교육문화센터에서 활동 중인 전문 강사의 지도로 진행됐으며, 어린이들은 자신만의 글씨체를 표현해보는 시간을 가졌다. 

이어 진행된 청사초롱 만들기 활동에서는 전통 등(燈)을 직접 제작하며 창작의 즐거움을 경험했다.

프로그램 운영은 공단 임직원의 자발적인 기부로 조성된 사회공헌기금을 통해 진행됐으며, 이번 활동은 지역사회와 공단, 이용고객이 함께 참여하는 공단의 대표적인 문화나눔 프로그램으로, 향후에도 지역아동을 위한 예술·체험활동을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

윤낙영 공단 이사장은 “어린이들이 예술을 통해 표현하고 성장할 수 있는 기회는 매우 중요하다”며 “공단은 앞으로도 주민과 함께하는 재능기부 활동과 문화 체험 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 지역사회에 따뜻한 변화를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

또한,  부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 최근 동절기 안전특별점검단(이하 ‘점검단’)을 가동해 관내 주요 다중이용시설에 대한 안전 점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

공단에 따르면, 이번 점검은 겨울철 한파·결빙·폭설 등으로 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 사전에 예방하고, 시설물의 취약요인을 사전에 발굴하기 위해 추진됐다. 

점검단은 안전감사팀장을 비롯해 공단 산업안전 담당자, 산업보건 담당자, 그리고 각 부서의 주요 실무 직원들로 구성됐으며, 총 12명이 참여했다. 

점검 대상은 공단 본부를 비롯해 삼산복합건물, 부평구보건소, 부평국민체육센터, 산곡노인문화센터 등 5개 시설이며, 이 외 시설은 부서별 자체 점검 방식으로 병행되었다.

점검단은 동절기 안전점검표를 활용해 시설물 내 균열·파손 여부, 동파 방지 및 보온 상태, 모터·배수 펌프 등 주요 설비 작동 상황, 이상 징후 및 잠재 위험요소 등을 면밀히 점검했다. 

점검 과정에서 확인된 사항들은 즉시 관련 부서에 통보하여 조치가 이뤄지도록 하고, 필요한 경우 추가 보완 조치도 시행하고 있다. 

공단은 이번 점검을 통해 겨울철 재난 상황에 대한 대응력을 한층 강화하고, 시설별 안전관리 매뉴얼에 따른 선제적 점검 체계를 지속적으로 강화할 방침이다.
