(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 2일, 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년 상반기 지방정부 일자리사업 평가’에서 기초지자체분야 우수상을 받았다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 행안부는 전국 226개 지자체를 대상으로 일자리사업 추진 실적과 우수사례 등을 종합적으로 심사해, 광역 7곳과 기초 13곳을 우수기관으로 선정했다.

부평구는 고용률, 여성 고용률, 취업자 수에서 전년 대비 높은 실적을 기록해 목표를 초과 달성했다.

특히 ‘신중년 경력 활용 맞춤형 일자리 사업’의 운영 성과를 높게 인정받았다.

부평구는 이번 수상을 계기로 정부, 인천시, 유관기관과 연계 협력을 통해 일자리 중심의 지역 맞춤형 사회공헌 모델을 계속 만들어갈 계획이다.
