(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천강화경찰서 송해파출소가 지난 11월 27일, 강화문예회관  내에서 노인 일자리 참여자 1,060명이 참석한 가운데 범죄예방 대처요령 및 교통안전 교육을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

강화경찰서에 따르면, 이날 교육은 송해파출소와 강화군노인복지회관 협업으로 갈수록 지능화되는  보이스피싱 범죄, 농한기 절도 예방, 미성년자 약취 유인 등 다양한 범죄사례 소개 및 대처요령과 함께, 인도가 없어 보행에 지장을 초래하면서, 교통 사망사고로 이어지는 노인 운전자와 무단횡단 보행자 안전사고 예방을 위한 계기로 마련했다.

행사를 주최한 강화군 노인복지관에서는 일자리에 참여 회원분들이 차도에서 일하는 경우가 많아 항상 교통사고 위험성이 있는데 경찰관이 직접 안전과 관련된 실감 나는 설명으로 많은 도움이 됐다고 성원을 보냈다.

이에 교육을 진행한 송해파출소 경감 남기철은 강화지역에서 발생하는 교통사고 중 노인 운전자와 보행자가 많은 편이라 안전 교육이 필요한데 강화군 노인 복지관과 협업을 통한 교육으로, 예방 시너지효과가 크게 발휘될 것이라고 기대한다면서, 앞으로도 긴밀히 협조하여 주민 안전을 지켜 가는 데 최선의노력을 다해 나갈 것이라고 화답했다.
