(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 28일 경인교육대학교 예지관에서 교직원과 교육전문직 450여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘인천 결대로자람학교 최종 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 보고회는 2023년부터 3년간 추진한 종단연구 결과를 공유하고 데이터 기반의 지속가능한 학교혁신 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

한국교원대학교 김성천 교수팀이 진행한 연구 결과에 따르면, 결대로자람학교 학생은 학교만족도, 학습선택권, 학생자치활동에서 우수한 성과를 보였으며, 특히 자아존중감이 학생주도성에 영향을 미치는 핵심 요인으로 나타났다. 

교사와 학부모 영역에서도 유의미한 성과가 확인되었으며, 교사는 전문성 신장과 수업혁신 의지가 높게 나타났고, 학부모는 학교 교육에 대한 신뢰도가 높고 사교육비 부담이 낮은 것으로 조사됐다.

보고회는 1부에서 양적·질적 연구 결과를 공유했고, 2부 종합토론에서는 ‘3년의 연구 여정, 결대로자람학교에서 미래를 찾다’를 주제로 학교 간 격차를 줄이고 혁신을 지속하기 위한 방안이 논의됐다.

토론에서는 학교 간 격차를 해소하고 지속가능한 학교 시스템과 문화를 구축해 일반학교로 확산하기 위한 방안이 논의됐다.

김성천 연구책임자는 “결대로자람학교는 각 학교의 특성을 살린 교육과정을 운영하는 모델”이라며 “인천의 교육 정책과 결합할 경우 공교육의 모범 사례가 될 것”이라고 평가했다.
