(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 오는  12월 8일 오후 2시부터 오정구청 3층 교육실에서 부천시정신건강복지센터와 함께 알코올이 뇌에 미치는 영향을 주제로 한 특강을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 이번 특강은 알코올로 인한 뇌 손상과 치매 발생의 연관성을 중심으로 음주를 통한 신체적·인지적 손상 위험을 바로 알고, 올바른 음주 인식을 확립하기 위해 마련됐다.

강의는 윤현철 부천시정신건강복지센터장(순천향대학교부천병원 전문의)이 진행한다. 

강의에서는 과도한 음주로 인한 기억력·집중력 저하, 감정 조절 문제 등 뇌 기능 저하 사례를 소개하며, 참여자가 스스로 건강한 생활습관을 점검할 수 있도록 도울 예정이다.

참여 대상은 음주 조절에 어려움을 겪거나 알코올 사용의 영향을 알고 싶은 시민 누구나 가능하며, 신청은 12월 5일까지 선착순 30명을 대상으로 부천시정신건강복지센터 홈페이지 또는 전화로 하면 된다.

김은옥 부천시보건소장은 “이번 특강을 통해 시민들이 알코올이 뇌와 인지 기능에 미치는 영향을 정확히 이해하고, 올바른 음주 습관을 형성하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 시민의 정신건강을 위한 교육과 예방 사업을 지속적으로 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

부천시정신건강복지센터는 알코올 사용장애 자기척도(AUDIT-K)를 활용한 알코올 평가 상담을 상시 운영하고 있다. 

이를 통해 음주 문제 수준을 점검하고, 개인 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 등 다양한 알코올 중독 예방 사업을 추진하고 있다.
