(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 운영하는 부평국민체육센터(이하 ‘센터’)가 1일, 오는 2026년 1월부터 수영·헬스 종목을 포함한 전 강좌에 ‘공개 추첨제’를 도입한다고 밝혔다. 

공단에 따르면, 부평국민체육센터는 2005년 개관 이후 수영, 아쿠아로빅, 헬스 등 다양한 생활체육 프로그램을 운영하며 지역 주민의 건강한 여가활동을 지원해왔다. 

그동안 기존 회원에게 재등록 우선권을 부여하는 방식으로 운영해 왔으나, 높은 재등록률로 인해 신규 이용자들이 참여 기회를 얻기 어려운 상황이 반복되어 왔다.

이에 센터는 더 많은 주민에게 공정한 참여 기회를 제공하고 신규 회원의 진입 장벽을 해소하기 위해 내년부터 추첨제를 도입한다. 

추첨제는 수영강습, 월 자유수영, 아쿠아로빅, 헬스 프로그램에 적용되며, 당첨자는 최대 6개월간 해당 프로그램을 이용할 수 있다. 

또, 수영 강습은 영법 습득 단계별 진도를 고려해 기초 6개월·숙련 6개월 총 12개월 과정을 운영하는 ‘수료제’를 병행하며, 6개월 주기(연 2회)로 추첨을 진행한다.

추첨 응모는 12월 4일 9시부터 12월 15일 오후 6시까지 온라인 또는 현장 접수를 통해 가능하며, 추첨은 12월 16일에 실시된다.
