(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 1일 혁신적인 '천원 정책' 시리즈 중 주거 부담을 덜어주는 '천원주택' 사업이 국민들의 뜨거운 관심을 받으며 '전국으로 확대되면 좋을 인천시 천원 정책' 선호도 조사에서 가장 높은 표를 얻었다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 조사는 지난 11월 19일부터 21일까지 울산전시컨벤션센터(UECO)에서 열린 ‘2025 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포’의 인천시 홍보부스에서 현장 방식으로 진행됐다. 

전국 각지에서 모인 4,458명의 관람객이 인천의 대표 천원 정책들을 면밀히 살펴본 후, 전국적 확산의 필요성에 대해 직접 투표하며 그 의미를 더했다.

인천시의 대표 천원 정책은 주거 부담을 덜어주는 '천원주택', 해양 관광 활성화를 위한 '아이(i) 바다패스' , 소상공인의 편의를 높이는 '천원택배', 청년층 식비 부담을 줄이는 '천원 아침밥', 문화 향유 기회를 확대하는 '천원티켓' 등 다양하다. 

이 중, 가장 많은 국민들의 선택을 받은 정책은 다름 아닌 '천원주택'이었다.

조사 결과, 전체 투표자 중 39%가 '천원주택'을 전국으로 확대하면 좋을 정책으로 꼽아 압도적인 선호도를 보였다. 

이어 천원 아침밥(17%), 아이(i) 바다패스(15%), 천원택배(15%), 천원티켓(14%) 순으로 뒤를 이었다.
