(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 26일, 최근 경기도가 주최한 ‘2025년 민원서비스 개선 우수사례 경진대회’에서 장려상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 이번 경진대회는 도민 편의를 높이는 민원서비스 혁신사례를 공유하기 위한 행사로, 매년 ‘민원의 날’과 함께 열리고 있다. 

사전 심사를 통해 선정된 8개 사례가 현장에서 발표됐으며, 전문가 평가와 도민 평가를 거쳐 최종 순위가 결정됐다.

대회에서 장려상을 받은 부천시의 ‘부천in 통합플랫폼’은 전자시민증을 기반으로 다양한 공공서비스를 하나의 앱에서 이용할 수 있도록 한 서비스다. 

복잡한 자격 확인 절차를 간소화하고, 교통·복지·문화 등 행정서비스를 쉽고 빠르게 활용할 수 있도록 한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.

특히 통합플랫폼을 통해 한 번의 인증으로 다양한 행정 정보와 공공서비스에 더욱 편리하게 접근할 수 있다는 점에서 시민 중심 행정의 우수사례로 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.

조용익 부천시장은 “이번 수상은 시민의 일상 속 불편을 세심하게 들여다본 결과이자 행정의 본질적 역할에 대해 끊임없이 고민해 온 노력의 결실”이라며 “앞으로도 시민의 삶을 실질적으로 변화시키는 스마트 행정서비스 혁신을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
