(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 한국농수산식품유통공사(이하 aT)가 18일, 김장 성수기(11월 중순~12월 상순)를 맞아 김장비용을 조사한 결과, 11월 17일 기준 20만 1151원으로 전년 11월 중순(21만 3003원) 대비 5.6% 낮은 것으로 나타났다고 밝혔다.

aT에 따르면, 이번 조사는 11월 17일 주요 김장재료 14개 품목에 대해 전국 17개 전통시장과 36개 대형유통업체에서 실시한 결과로, 정부 와 유통업체 자체 할인이 반영된 가격이다.

주재료 중 배추와 무는 추석 이후 잦은 강우로 작황이 부진해 최근 도매가격은 상승세에 있으나, 역대 최대규모의 김장철 농축산물 할인지원이 추진되면서 소매가격은 지난해 대비해 배추와 무가 각각 10%, 24% 하락한 것으로 조사됐다. 

도매가격은 11월 하순부터 남부지역에서 본격적으로 출하되면 하락세로 전환될 것으로 전망된다.

배추, 무 이외에도 배, 새우젓, 소금과 같은 부재료 가격도 지난해보다 각각 28%, 8%, 10% 하락하며 김장철 장바구니 부담 완화에 일조했다.

반면, 양념으로 사용되는 마늘, 양파는 지난해보다 각각 9%, 6% 강세를 보이고 있으나, 평년 대비는 각각 8%, 13% 낮은 수준이다. 

aT 문인철 수급이사는 “마늘·양파는 김장철 마늘·양파 수급대책에 따라 정부비축 물량을 공급하고 있어 향후 안정세가 기대된다”며 “본격적인 김장철을 맞아 주요 품목들의 수급 안정이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
