(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 환경부 산하 수도권매립지관리공사(이하 공사)가 9일부터 12일까지 4일간 드림파크 컨트리클럽에서 ‘제6회 드림파크배 전국아마추어골프선수권대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

공사에 따르면, 올해로 6회를 맞는 이번 대회는 대한골프협회(KGA)가 주관하며, 전국 16개 시도에서 선발된 KGA 랭킹 상위 아마추어 선수 176명(남자부 88명, 여자부 88명)이 참가해 기량을 겨룬다.

이번 대회는 기존 3라운드에서 4라운드로 확대 운영되며, 대한골프협회 공식 포인트가 지급되는 것이 특징이다.

이로 인해 국내 아마추어 선수들 사이에서 ‘국내 메이저급 아마추어 대회’로 자리매김하게 됐다.
