(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 오는 8일부터 18일까지 중·고등학생과 학부모를 대상으로 ‘7월 진로특강’을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

인천시교육청에 따르면, 인천사이버진로교육원 온라인 화상 시스템으로 진행되는 이번 특강은 중학생과 학부모를 위한 과학고 진로·진학 정보, 수학 학습법을 다룬다.

또한, 인천 지역 고등학교 출신 청년진로멘토 8명이 참여해 전공 탐색, 복수전공 사례, 졸업 후 진로, 입시 전략 등 대학 생활에서의 실제 경험을 바탕으로 진로 설계와 학습 방법을 공유한다.

특강은 사전 신청 후 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 모든 강의는 동일한 내용으로 1차시(19:00~19:50)와 2차시(20:00~20:50) 중 선택해 수강할 수 있다. 

인천시교육청 관계자는 “학생과 학부모가 함께 진로를 탐색하고 준비하는 데 도움이 되길 바라며, 앞으로도 변화하는 교육환경에 맞춘 진로 지원 프로그램을 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 3일, 의료접근성이 낮은 도서 지역 근로자를 위한 ‘산업재해 예방형 근로자 건강 지원 및 컨설팅’ 사업을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면,이번 사업은 산업재해에 취약한 도서 지역 학교 현업근로자의 건강권 보호와 재해 예방을 위한 현장 밀착형 프로그램으로, 보건 전문가가 직접 학교를 방문해 체형 불균형 평가, 근육 기능 검사, 스트레칭 및 테이핑 교육, 건강검진 소견 상담 등을 진행하며 이와 함께 작업 환경 개선을 위한 컨설팅도 이뤄진다.

건강 지원 프로그램은 백령도를 시작으로 덕적도, 연평도 등 순차적으로 추진하며, 실질적이고 지속 가능한 건강관리 기반을 마련할 계획이다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “의료와 복지 지원이 부족한 도서 지역 근로자들에게 실질적인 도움이 되길 바라며, 건강한 일터 조성과 산업재해 예방에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
