(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 지난 2일 북부교육문화센터에서 ‘탄소중립 선서식’을 개최하고, 노사 공동으로 기후위기 대응과 탄소중립 실현을 위한 실천 의지를 공식 선언했다고 밝혔다.

공단에 따르면, 이번 선서식은 지방공기업으로서의 사회적 책임을 바탕으로 탄소중립을 향한 실질적인 행동을 다짐하고자 마련된 행사로, 이사장과 양 노동조합 위원장(부평구시설관리공단 직장노동조합, 인천부평구시설관리공단노동조합)이 공동으로 탄소중립 선언문을 낭독하고, 전 직원이 함께 제창하며 환경보호와 녹색성장을 위한 실천 의지를 다졌다.

이날 선언문에서는 2050 탄소중립 실현을 위한 에너지 절약 및 신재생에너지 확대, 온실가스 감축과 자원순환 활동의 전 부서 실천, ESG 경영 실현과 친환경 인프라 확충, 탄소중립 실천 교육과 미래세대를 위한 녹색성장 노력 등의 내용을 담아 지방공기업으로서의 기후위기 대응 의지를 분명히 했다.
