(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 2일 국립 인천대학교 학산도서관에서 지역 블록체인 인재 양성과 기술역량 강화를 위한 ‘2025 인천 블록체인 칼리지’ 오프닝 행사를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 행사는 블록체인 칼리지의 교육과정에 대한 상세 안내와 강사진 소개, 시민 참여 이벤트 등으로 구성돼 교육 시작 전 학습 동기를 높이고 시민들의 관심을 끌기 위한 다양한 프로그램이 진행됐다. 

특히, 법무법인 디엘지·바이낸스를 비롯한 블록체인 업계 전문가들을 초청해 블록체인 기술과 산업 트렌드에 대한 전문 특강을 통해 참석자들의 이해를 도왔다.

전문가 특강은 디지털자산 법제화와 블록체인 산업의 과제, 글로벌 블록체인 산업 트렌드, 디지털자산 정책 및 시장 흐름, 실생활 속 블록체인 기술 등 다양한 주제로 진행되어 현업 전문가들의 깊이 있는 시각을 공유하는 자리가 됐다.

‘인천 블록체인 칼리지’는 민선 8기 공약사업으로 추진 중인 ‘블록체인 허브도시 인천 조성’의 핵심과제 중 하나로, 기업과 지역 대학이 참여하는 산·학·관 협력형 인력 양성 프로젝트다. 

인천시는 올해 기초교육부터 실증 플랫폼 활용, 팀 프로젝트 수행 등 실전 역량을 강화할 수 있는 전문교육까지 세분화된 교육과정을 운영할 계획이다.

교육 대상은 시민 대상 기초과정 70명, 예비 창업자 및 재직자를 위한 전문과정 30명 등 총 100명으로 구성되며, 이와 별도로 인천 지역의 중·고등학생과 일반 시민을 대상으로 한 현장 방문 맞춤형 교육도 제공할 예정이다.

또한, 인천시가 오는 7월 3일부터 6일까지 나흘간 인천 청라국제도시에 위치한 베어즈베스트 골프클럽에서 국내 대표 여자 골프대회인 ‘제15회 롯데오픈’이 개최된다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 올해 대회에는 디펜딩 챔피언 이가영을 비롯해 김효주, 최혜진, 황유민, 이예원 등 국내외 정상급 선수 132명이 출전해 총상금 12억 원(우승 상금 2억 1,600만 원)을 두고 열전을 펼칠 예정이다.

이번 대회는 시민과 함께하는 스포츠 이벤트로, 18번 홀 ‘플레저홀’에서는 DJ 음악과 함께 자유로운 분위기 속에서 선수들을 응원할 수 있으며, 갤러리 플라자에서는 골프 체험 프로그램 등 다양한 부대행사가 마련돼 관람객들의 만족도를 높일 계획이다.

인천시는 이번 대회 기간 현장에 인천 홍보관을 운영하고, ‘인천 유니크베뉴’ 사회관계망 서비스(SNS) 팔로우 이벤트와 퍼팅 체험 행사를 통해 인천의 특색 있는 관광 및 마이스 콘텐츠를 널리 홍보할 계획이다.
