(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구의회가 지난 23일 제3차 본회의를 끝으로 제304회 제1차 정례회 의사일정을 모두 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

남동구의회에 따르면, 이번 정례회에서는 2025년도 상반기 주요업무실적 및 하반기 주요업무계획 보고,2024회계연도 결산 승인안, 각종 조례안 및 기타 안건 등을 최종 의결했다.

지난 14일 열린 제2차 본회의에서 남동구 민원업무담당공무원 등의 보호 및 지원에 관한 조례 전부개정조례안은 일부 조항의 문구를 정비한 상임위원회 수정안대로 가결됐으며, 나머지 19건의 조례안과 1건의 의견청취안은 원안가결됐다.

또한, 각 상임위원회에서 6월 17일부터 19일까지 2024회계연도 결산 승인 건을 심사하여 20일 예산결산특별위원회에서 종합 심사하고, 23일 3차 본회의에서 원안가결됐다.

한편, 3차 본회의에서는 육은아 의원과 이연주 의원이 5분 자유발언을 진행했으며, 김재남 의원이 구정 질의에 나섰다.

육은아 의원은 송천초등학교 부설 주차장 개방사업과 관련해 지역주민 편의와 주차난 해소를 위해 주차장 개방을 조속히 이행할 것을 강력히 촉구했다. 

이어 이연주 의원은 닥터헬기 계류장 사업 추진 과정에서 주민과의 소통 부족과 사회적 합의 부재 등의 문제점을 지적하고 인천시는 소통 중심의 행정을 확립해야 함을 거듭 강조했다.

김재남 의원은 구정 질의를 통해 지속적인 세수 감소, 복지 예산 증가 및 과도한 토목 분야 예산지출 등으로 재정건전성에 미치는 영향에 대해 지적하고, 집행부에 장기적이고 안정적이며 지속 가능한 재정지출 구조개선을 통해 전략적이고 책임 있는 재정운영 정책을 펼쳐줄 것을 요청했다. 

이정순 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “앞으로도 구민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 발전을 위해 의회와 집행부가 함께 뜻을 모을 것이며, 남동구의회는 공정과 청렴의 가치를 지키며 오직 구민만을 바라보며 정도를 걷는 의회가 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다. 

남동구의회 다음 회기는 오는 7월 15일부터 24일까지이며, 10일간의 일정으로 제305회 임시회를 개최할 예정이다.
