(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 환경부 산하 수도권매립지관리공사(이하 공사)가 8일 공사 홍보관에서 반부패·청렴 실천을 위한 임직원 청렴선포식과 청렴교육 특강을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

공사에 따르면, 이날 행사는 공정하고 투명한 조직문화 정착을 목표로 공사 임직원, 시민환경감사관이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며 전 임직원이 윤리헌장을 선언하며 청렴 실천에 대한 결연한 의지를 다지는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

이 자리에서 공사는 국민권익위원회 청렴연수원 전문강사를 초청해 공직자 행동강령, 청탁금지법, 이해충돌방지법, 공익신고자보호법 등 공직자가 반드시 숙지해야 할 주요 법령에 대한 실무적 특강을 실시하여 임직원들의 청렴 의식과 법령 이해도를 한층 높였다.

송병억 사장은 “공사가 국민과 공감하고 지역사회와 상생하는 친환경 자원순환 전문기관의 역할을 공고히 하기 위해서는 청렴한 조직문화와 윤리경영이 필수적”임을 강조하며, “앞으로도 투명하고 신뢰받는 기관으로 나아갈 수 있도록 다각적인 노력을 지속하겠다”라고 말했다.

한편, 공사는 올해 4월 윤리헌장을 포함한 임직원 윤리규범을 개정 완료했으며, 앞으로도 윤리경영 체계 고도화와 청렴 내재화를 위해 다양한 반부패·청렴 활동을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.
