(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 15일, 부곡초등학교에서 유관기관과 함께 ‘어린이 교통안전 캠페인’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이날 캠페인에는 구를 비롯해 부평경찰서, 북부교육지원청, 녹색어머니연합회와 모범운전자회 등 관계자 50여 명이 참여했다.

참여자들은 등굣길 어린이들의 교통안전 의식을 높이기 위해 ‘서다, 보다, 걷다’의 보행 3원칙을 홍보했다.

또, 운전자들에게는 ‘횡단보도 앞 일단 멈춤’, ‘아이 먼저 보내주세요’ 등의 문구가 담긴 팻말을 통해 어린이보호구역 내 안전 운전을 당부했다.

부평구 관계자는 “작은 배려가 큰 안전을 만든다”며 “어린이와 운전자가 함께 안심할 수 있는 교통 환경을 만들어, 교통사고 ‘제로’를 목표로 안전강화에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 부평구는 지난 10일 교통 관련 유관기관 간 ‘교통안전실무협의체’를 개최해 각 기관별 업무계획을 공유하고, 교통사고 예방과 감소를 위해 각 기관이 적극 협력하기로 논의했다.

Bupyeong-gu announced on the 15th that it conducted a ‘children’s traffic safety campaign’ with related organizations at Bugok Elementary School.
