(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 서구가 지난 14일 ‘2025년 제1차 저출산 정책위원회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

서구에 따르면,  저출산 정책위원회는 저출산·고령사회기본법과 인천광역시 서구 행복한 출산 · 양육 환경 조성을 위한 조례에 근거해 운영되며, 저출산대응 시행계획 심의 및 저출산 정책 사업 발굴 및 제안 등의 역할을 수행하기 위해 올해 첫 구성됐다.

회의에 참석한 위원들은 인천 서구가 수립한 2025년도 저출산 대응 시행계획(안)을 심의하고 구 저출산 정책에 대한 다양한 의견을 개진하는 시간을 가졌다.

올해 인천 서구는 저출산 극복을 위해 함께 일하고 함께 돌보는 사회 조성, 모두의 역량이 고루 발휘되는 사회, 인구구조 변화에 대한 적응 등 3개 분야, 55개 사업에 1,805억 원의 예산을 투입할 예정이다.

이날 회의를 주재한 윤명훈 복지국장은 "저출산 문제는 지역사회가 함께 해결해야 할 중요한 과제"라며, "위원회의 자문사항이 저출산 정책에 잘 반영되어 인구 증가로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
