(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 15일,  서부 결대로진로센터에서 경인교육대학교 학생이 참여하는 ‘진로·학업 멘토링’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

‘진로·학업 멘토링’은 경인교육대학교 학생이 인천 초·중·고등학생과 1:1로 만나 진로 탐색 및 학업 설계를 돕는 프로그램이다.

지난해 12월 경인교육대학교 내에 개소한 서부 결대로진로센터는 학생과 학부모에게 진로 교육 관련 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 

이번 멘토링은 경인교육대학교 학생들이 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 진로 정보와 학업 고민 해결 방법을 제시하여 학생들의 진로 설계를 지원한다.

인천시교육청 관계자는“결대로진로센터의 핵심 역할은 진로·진학 컨설팅”이라며, “멘토링 프로그램으로 학생들이 자신에게 맞는 진로를 탐색하도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 14일, 교육활동 보호 현장자문단을 구성하고 연수 및 워크숍을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청은 교육활동 보호에 전문성을 갖춘 유·초·중·고·특수학교의 교장, 교감, 교사 및 교육전문직원 62명을 교육활동 보호 현장자문단으로 선정하여 운영 중이다. 

현장자문단은 교육활동 침해 행위 발생 시 신속 지원, 관련 연수, 정책 자문, 자료 개발 등 현장 맞춤형 지원을 담당한다.

이번 연수에서는 교육활동 침해 관련 법률, 사례 분석, 학생생활지도고시에 따른 교육활동 등을 다뤘으며, 워크숍에서는 학교·학급 특성에 맞춘 교육활동 보호 방안 및 자문단 운영 방안을 논의했다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “학교의 다양한 교육활동 침해에 대한 맞춤형 지원을 강화하여 교사들이 안심하고 수업에 전념할 수 있는 환경을 조성하겠다”고 강조했다.
