(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 14일, 최근 시청자미디어재단과 인천시 RISE 사업 협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

인천대에 따르면, 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 2025년부터 시행되는 교육부 RISE 사업을 추진하는 데에 있어 제물포 르네상스 연계 원도심 가치 재창조를 위한 협력에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 

특히 인천대학교의 연구인프라와 시청자미디어재단의 기술 인프라를 연계해 지역맞춤형 인재 발굴에 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

인천대학교 박종태 총장은 “인천대학교는 인천의 원도심 활성화를 통한 지역주민의 정주여건 개선으로 거점국립대학으로서의 역할을 충실히 수행해 나갈 것”라고 말했다.

인천대는 2023년부터 RISE 사업의 성공적인 추진을 위해 인천시, 인천테크노파크와 긴밀히 협력을 진행하고 있으며, 인천시의 전략산업 육성과 정주여건 개선을 위해 관련 사업 제안과 논의를 진행해 인천시 RISE 사업 시행계획 수립에 적극 협조한 바 있다.

시청자미디어재단 최철호 이사장은 “인천 지역민이 다양한 미디어 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 인천광역시 지역혁신 중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업에 인천대학교와 함께 참여하여 기관의 전문성을 살려 성공적인 사업 수행을 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

이번 인천대학교-시청자미디어재단 간 MOU 체결을 통해 지역 내 맞춤형 인력양성을 위한 기관 간 유기적인 협력이 활성화되어 인천 지역의 발전 및  산업협력에 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

또한, 인천대학교 산학협력단이 14일, 최근 송도에서 인천지역 주요 경제단체 대표들과 함께 ‘성공적인 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원)사업 추진을 위한 인천대학교-인천지역경제단체 간담회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

인천대에 따르면, 대학교는 그동안 인천지역 경제단체들과 긴밀한 협력 관계를 유지하며 산학협력을 기반으로 지역산업 발전과 인재 양성에 주력해 왔다. 

이번 간담회는 2025년부터 본격 시행되는 RISE사업을 성공적으로 추진하기 위해 기존 협력 관계를 더욱 강화하고, 지속 가능한 산학협력 체계를 구축하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 

이를 통해 인천대학교는 지역 경제와 연계된 연구 및 기술 혁신을 선도하며, 기업과 함께 성장하는 대학으로 자리매김하고자 한다.

이날 간담회에는 인천대학교 산학협력단을 비롯해 한국생산기술연구원 국가뿌리산업진흥센터, (사)인천비전기업협회, (사)유망기업연합회 (사)벤처기업협회, (사)중소기업융합인천부천연합회, (사)수출경영자협의회, (사)연수송도경영자협의회 등 주요 경제단체장 및 관계자들이 참석했다. 

특히, 인천대학교는 RISE사업을 통해 지역 내 제조업 및 신산업 발전을 이끌고, 산업 맞춤형 연구 및 기술이전을 더욱 강화할 계획이다. 

이번 간담회를 계기로 기업들이 원하는 실질적인 지원 방안을 마련하고, 산학협력의 시너지를 극대화할 예정이다.

인천대학교 산학협력단장 최욱 교수는 “RISE사업은 단순한 대학 지원 사업이 아니라 지역과 대학이 함께 성장하는 혁신 전략이며, 인천대학교는 이를 선도적으로 추진할 것”이라며 “이번 간담회를 통해 기업과 대학이 함께 미래 산업을 대비하고, 그동안 인천지역 경제단체들과 더욱 긴밀하게 협력하여 지역경제 발전에 기여할 수 있는 구체적인 협력 모델을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

참석한 경제단체 대표들은 “인천대학교와의 협력은 지역산업 발전에 있어 매우 중요한 요소이며, 앞으로도 지속적인 협력을 통해 산학협력의 성과를 더욱 확대해 나가겠다”며, 앞으로의 지속적인 협력을 약속했다. 

인천대학교는 앞으로도 지역산업 발전과 연계한 산학협력 프로젝트를 확대하고, RISE사업을 성공적으로 추진하기 위한 정책적·실무적 노력을 지속할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

Incheon National University announced on the 14th that it recently signed a business agreement with the Citizens’ Media Foundation for cooperation in the Incheon City RISE project.

In particular, Incheon National University plans to lead the development of manufacturing and new industries in the region through the RISE project and further strengthen industry-tailored research and technology transfer.

Through this meeting, we plan to establish practical support measures that companies want and maximize the synergy of industry-academic cooperation.
