(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 14일, 공공데이터를 활용한 혁신적인 아이디어와 창의적인 비즈니스 모델을 발굴하기 위해 ‘제11회 인천광역시 공공데이터 활용 경진대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 대회는 인하대학교, 인천대학교, 인천도시공사, 인천관광공사, 인천환경공단, 인천국제공항공사, 인천항만공사, 인천창조경제혁신센터와 공동으로 주최되며, 수상자에 대한 다양한 지원을 확대함으로써 시민들의 참여를 적극 유도할 계획이다.

공모 분야는 ‘아이디어 기획’과 ‘제품 및 서비스 개발’로 구분되며, 이 중 ‘제품 및 서비스 개발’ 분야는 실제로 시연이 가능한 제품 및 서비스만 응모할 수 있다. 

공공데이터 활용에 관심 있는 대한민국 국민이라면 누구나 개인 또는 5인 이하의 팀을 구성해 참여할 수 있으며, 신청은 4월 14일부터 6월 5일까지 인천데이터포털을 통해 진행된다.

심사는 산학연 전문가 및 실무 담당자로 구성된 심사위원회를 통해 서류 심사와 최종 발표심사로 진행된다. 

최종 8개 팀이 선정되며, 이들에게는 총 2,700만 원 규모의 상금과 인천광역시장상 등이 수여될 예정이다.

특히, 각 분야의 상위 1개 팀은 행정안전부가 주최하는 ‘제13회 범정부 공공데이터 활용 창업경진대회’ 본선에 진출할 수 있는 자격을 얻게 된다. 

또, 수상자들에게는 인천시와 참여기관이 제공하는 창업 교육 및 컨설팅, 창업 공간 지원, 창업 동아리 운영 지원, 창업 지원사업 신청 시 우대 혜택 등 다양한 후속지원이 제공된다.
