브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 10일 제21대 대통령선거 최종 후보 선출을 위한 경선 일정과 방식을 확정했다.

국민의힘은 이날 오전 국회에서 비상대책위원회의를 열고, 경선룰이 담긴 안건을 의결했다.

당에 따르면 1차 예비경선(컷오프)에서는 일반국민 여론조사 즉, 민심 100%를 반영해 후보 4명을 추린다. 2차 컷오프에서는 당심 50%, 민심 50%를 반영해 본 경선에 오를 최종 후보를 2명으로 압축한다.

이후 마지막 3차 경선에선 선거인단 투표 50%, 국민 여론조사 50%로 최종 1인을 선출한다.

다만 4인 경선에서 한명의 후보가 50%를 넘으면, 2인 경선을 하지 않고 바로 최종 후보로 확정한다.

최종 1인의 대선후보는 5월 3일 결정된다. 

구체적인 일정을 보면, 오는 14~15일 양일간 후보자 접수를 받고 16일 1차 경선 진출자를 발표한다.

17일에는  대선후보 미디어데이를 열고 토론회 조 추첨을 하게 된다. 18일부터 20일까지 사흘간 후보자 토론회가 열리며, A, B, C 3개 조로 나눠 하루씩 토론회를 하게 된다.

21일과 22일에는 국민 여론조사가 진행한 뒤, 22일 저녁 4인 경선 진출자를 발표한다.

23일에는 2차 경선 후보자 미디어데이를 열고, 24~25일 주도권 토로회를 갖는다. 

26일에는 4인 후보자 간 토론회가 열린다. 27일과 28일 선거인단과 국민을 대상으로 여론조사가 진행되고, 29일 3차 경선 진출자 2명을 발표하게 된다.

30일에는 최종 후보 2인의 양자 토론이 진행된다. 다음달 1일과 2일 선거인단 투표와 국민 여론조사가 진행되며, 이후 3일 전당대회에서 최종 후보자를 결정한다.
