(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 수도권매립지관리공사노동조합이 8일, 성명서를 통해 매립지 내 복합문화레저시설 건설을 통해 그동안 매립지로 인해 고통 받아온 인천시민을 위해 매립지 부지가 활용되는 것에 대승적 차원에서 공감한다.

인천시의 매립지 개발사업을 공사에 일언반구도 없이 언론에 먼저 발표한 만행은 우리 노동자들의 자존심에 상처가 되었으며 분노를 넘어 모멸감을 안겨 준 인천시에 강한 유감을 표명하며 아쿠아리움 건설계획 말보다 협의가 먼저다.  

인천시의 수도권매립지 내 복합문화레저시설 계획이 정치적 치적 쌓기가 목적이 아닌 주민들을 위한 진정성 있는 사업이라면 수도권매립지관리공사를 비롯한 협의당사자인 환경부, 서울시, 경기도에 언론 발표 전 충분한 소통과 논의가 이뤄져야 했음에도 언론홍보에만 집중하는 행태는 인천시의 의지에 진정성이 있는지 의구심이 든다.

그 동안 반복되었던 공약(空約)뿐인 사업으로 인해 주민들이 또다시 상처를 입지 않을까 심히 우려되는 바이다.

사업이라는 것은 사업당사자 간 목적과 방향 등 상호 간 조건이 맞을 때 추진 되는 것이며 인천시는 실체 없는 사업 홍보에만 열을 올릴 것이 아니라, 지금이라도 공사의 실무협의 요구사항을 적극적으로 수용하여 사업이 성공적으로 추진되길 바란다고 밝혔다.

인천시는 성공적인 사업추진을 위해 공사의 요구사항을 적극 수용하라!

최근 인천시는 수도권매립지 일원 승마장 부지 51,473평에 3,000억원을 투입하여 아쿠아리움 등 복합문화레저시설을 건설하겠다고 발표했다.

우리 수도권매립지 노동자들도 매립지 내 복합문화레저시설 건설을 통해 그동안 매립지로 인해 고통 받아온 인천시민을 위해 매립지 부지가 활용되는 것에 대승적 차원에서 공감하는 바이다.

하지만 남의 집 안방에 짐을 풀어놓겠다면 상식적으로 그 집에 살고 있는 사람에게 미리 양해를 구하는 것이 인지상정 아니겠는가? 그럼에도 인천시의 매립지 개발사업을 공사에 일언반구도 없이 언론에 먼저 발표한 만행은 우리 노동자들의 자존심에 상처가 되었으며 분노를 넘어 모멸감을 안겨 준 인천시에 강한 유감을 표명한다.
