(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시의회가 4일, 교육위원회에서 인천지역 교육 여건 제고를 위한 의안 12건이 최종 본회의를 통과했다고 밝혔다.

인천시의회에 따르면, 교육위원회는 이날 열린 ‘제301회 임시회’ 제5차 본회의에서‘인천광역시교육청 장애인 교원 편의 지원 조례안’, ‘인천광역시교육청 지식재산교육 지원 조례안(이상 이용창 의원)’ 등 12건의 의안들이 최종 의결됐다.

이날 본회의에서는 교육위원회 임지훈 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘인천광역시교육청 장애학생 문화예술 및 체육 활동 지원 조례안’을 비롯해 ‘인천광역시교육청  지식재산교육 지원 조례안(이용창 의원)’, ‘인천광역시교육청 안전 승하차 회차로 등 조성 지원 조례안(정종혁 의원)’, ‘인천광역시교육청 에너지 이용 합리화에 관한 조례안(정종혁 의원)’, ‘인천광역시교육청 교육재난지원금 지원 조례 일부개정조례안(김종배 의원)’, ‘인천광역시교육청 학생 도박 예방 교육 조례 전부개정조례안’ 등이 통과했다.

이용창 위원장은 “학생들의 안전, 학교 안팎의 교육환경 개선과 교직원 복지 제고는 교육공동체 복지와 직결되므로 상임위원회에서 신중히 심사했고, 본회의를 통과했다”며 “앞으로도 우리 아이들의 교육 여건 개선과 교직원들의 복지 증진을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다. 

한편, 이날 본회의를 통과한 조례들은 인천시교육청에서 25일 내로 공포, 시행할 예정이다.

Incheon City Council announced on the 4th that 12 bills to improve educational conditions in the Incheon area passed the final plenary session at the Education Committee.

Chairman Lee Yong-chang said, “Student safety, improvement of the educational environment inside and outside of school, and enhancement of faculty and staff welfare are directly related to the welfare of the educational community, so the standing committee carefully reviewed them and passed the plenary session,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to improve the educational conditions for our children and enhance the welfare of faculty and staff.”

Meanwhile, the ordinances passed at the plenary session on this day are scheduled to be promulgated and implemented by the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education within 25 days.
