(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천창조경제혁신센터(이하 인천센터)가 오는 4월 30일까지 인천광역시와 함께 추진하는 투자기업 발굴 플랫폼 사업 ‘빅웨이브(BiiG Wave)’에 참여할 스타트업을 모집한다.

인천센터에 따르면,  ‘빅웨이브’는 창업‧투자 생태계 활성화와 스타트업 및 벤처기업 육성을 위해 인천시와 인천센터가 공동 운영하는 대표 사업으로, 2021년 출범 이후 전국 94개 유망 스타트업을 발굴했다. 

지난해 말 기준으로 총 1,600억 원 규모의 누적 투자 유치 실적을 기록하며 참여 기업의 혁신적인 성장을 이끌어왔다.

올해는 상‧하반기로 나누어 총 15개사를 선발할 예정이며, 상반기에는 초격차 딥테크 기술 분야 스타트업을 중심으로 투자 유치를 집중 지원한다. 

하반기에는 오픈이노베이션 연계 투자유치 프로그램으로 확대 운영할 계획이다.

선정된 기업에는 전문 기업 진단과 맞춤형 IR 컨설팅을 제공하고, 이후 인천센터가 운영하는 다양한 투자유치 무대에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 

또한, 인천센터가 보유한 국내외 파트너와의 협업 기회와 사업화 연계 지원도 함께 추진된다.

특히 우수 기업에게는 인천센터가 운영 중인 1조 원 규모의 펀드를 통한 후속 투자 검토는 물론, 오픈이노베이션 및 글로벌 진출 프로그램 등과의 연계를 통해 성장 전 단계에서의 전폭적인 지원이 이어질 예정이다.

모집 대상은 전국의 창업 7년 이내 스타트업으로, 인천센터의 특화 분야인 바이오‧헬스케어, AI‧빅데이터를 포함한 초격차 10대 분야 전 산업 분야의 기업이 지원할 수 있다. 

접수 마감은 4월 30일(화) 16시까지이며, 자세한 내용은 빅웨이브 공식 홈페이지 와 인천창업플랫폼에서 확인할 수 있다.

Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Incheon Center) is recruiting startups to participate in 'Big Wave (BiiG Wave),' an investment company discovery platform project promoted in cooperation with Incheon Metropolitan City, until April 30.

According to Incheon Center, 'Big Wave' is a representative project jointly operated by Incheon City and Incheon Center to activate the startup and investment ecosystem and foster startups and venture companies, and has discovered 94 promising startups nationwide since its launch in 2021.

The recruitment target is startups established within 7 years nationwide, and companies in all industries including the Incheon Center's specialized fields of bio/healthcare, AI/big data, and 10 ultra-gap fields can apply.
