(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 12일 구청 개청 30주년을 맞아 개최한 ‘옛 사진 공모전’에서 총 47점의 응모작을 대상으로 심사해 최종 20점의 작품을 선정·발표했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이번 공모전은 부평의 역사와 문화를 되새기고, 과거 부평을 담은 사진을 통해 세대 간 소통을 도모하며 구민들의 자긍심과 애향심을 높이기 위해 기획됐다.

다양한 세대가 공모전에 참여해 옛 부평구민의 생활상과 추억을 엿볼 수 있는 역사적 자료가 수집됐다.

최우수상 작품에는 1972년 당시 인천시 북구청 종합청사 조감도를 배경으로 친구들과 함께 추억을 나누기 위해 찍은 사진을 제출한 최명애 씨가 차지했다.

최명애 씨는 “사진을 찍을 당시 구청 건물을 한창 짓는 중이었다”며 “이를 보면서 친구들과 함께 추억을 위해 사진을 남겨놓자는 의견이 모여 찍게 됐다”고 회상했다.

우수상에는 아버지가 소속된 모범운전자회에서 출근시간대 버스기사를 격려하는 모습을 담은 사진을 제출한 한민지 씨와 대우자동차에 근무했던 아버지의 사진을 제출한 최윤희씨가 받게 됐다

이 외에도 장려상 5명, 참가상 12명 등 총 20명이 수상자로 선정됐다.

수상자들에게는 소정의 모바일 상품권이 지급되며, 오는 14일 구청에서 열리는 두드림마당에서 최우수상과 우수상 수상자에게 부평구청장상이 수여될 예정이다.

심사결과는 부평구 공식 블로그 ‘공감부평’에서 확인할 수 있다.

부평구 관계자는 “이번 공모전은 부평의 역사적, 문화적 가치를 되새기고, 구민들의 삶 속에 담긴 소중한 추억을 통해 서로 소통하고 공감할 수 있는 중요한 계기가 됐다”며 “많은 구민이 참여해 주셔서 감사드리고, 앞으로도 부평의 역사와 문화를 알리고 보존하는 다양한 활동을 지속적으로 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 말했다.
