(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 11일 부천시소상공인연합회(이하‘연합회’)와 소상공인 성장도모 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 소상공인연합회는 소상공인 권익증진을 위해 활동하는 법정 경제단체로, 이번 협약식에는 이정호 부천시소상공인연합회장, 허영미 부회장, 선영필 부회장, 이사 등 주요 임원진이 참석했다. 

이번 협약을 통해 부천시와 연합회는 소상공인의 금융 부담 완화 및 경영 안정 지원, 디지털 환경 적응 및 경쟁력 강화, 소상공인 정책사업 공모 참여 등을 통해 소상공인의 성장 도모와 지역경제 활성화를 위해 적극 협력할 예정이다.

이정호 연합회장은 “어려운 경제 상황 속에서도 소상공인을 위해 힘쓰는 부천시에 감사드린다”며 “소상공인의 목소리를 적극 대변하고, 역량 강화를 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

이에 조용익 부천시장은 “소상공인은 지역경제의 버팀목이자 시민들의 일상과 가장 가까운 곳에서 부천의 활력을 만들어 가는 중요한 주체”라며 “앞으로도 시는 소상공인과 꾸준히 소통하며 소상공인의 성장과 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다. 

이번 협약을 계기로 부천시와 연합회는 소상공인의 지속가능한 성장과 지역 경제 활성화를 위한 협력을 더욱 강화할 계획이다.

한편, 부천시는 소상공인 특례보증‧이차보전 사업을 통해 소상공인의 경영안정에 힘쓰고 있다.

또한, 부천시가 12일, 3월부터 관내 건설·제조업 사업장의 안전사고 예방을 위한 노동안전지킴이 활동을 본격 추진한다고 벍혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 이는 산업현장 지도·점검을 통해 사업주와 노동자의 산업안전 인식을 개선하고 산재 사고사망자를 감축하기 위한 안전사고 예방 대책 사업의 일환이다.

부천시는 지난 2월 공모를 통해 부천시비정규직노동자지원센터를 보조사업자로 선정하고, 산업안전 분야 전문가인 노동안전지킴이를 선발했다.

노동안전지킴이는 산업재해가 우려되는 중·소규모 건설 현장과 상시근로자 50인 미만의 제조업 등을 대상으로 개인 보호구 착용 여부, 산업안전보건기준 위반 여부, 안전관리자 등 인력배치 적정 여부 등을 중점 지도·관리한다. 

또, 관련 기관과의 협업을 통해 산업현장 합동점검과 캠페인 추진 등 산업안전문화 정착을 위한 다양한 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

한편, 부천시는 노동안전지킴이 운영을 통해 지난해 총 314개 사업장을 점검하고, 1,953건의 개선 요청 건에 대해 92% 이상을 시정 조치하는 등 안전한 노동환경 조성을 위해 힘쓰고 있다.
