(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 12일 강화군과 교육과 지역이 상생하는 교육발전특구 지원을 위한 업무협약식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 협약은 지난해 9월 시작된 강화교육발전특구 사업의 실질적인 협력 관계를 구축하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약의 주요 내용은 작은 학교 학생들의 체험학습 및 특화 교육을 지원하는 ‘강화 학생 성공 버스’ 상호 지원, 글로벌 인재 양성을 위한 원어민 교사 추가 배치 및 외국 문화 체험 기회 제공, 강화군 내 학교 체육시설 활용도 증진, 그리고 지역 주민의 학교 시설 이용 보장 등이다.
양 기관은 이번 협약으로 인구 소멸 위기 극복을 위한 교육 환경 조성에 힘쓸 계획이다.
도성훈 교육감은 “앞으로 강화교육발전특구 사업이 인천교육의 지표가 되고 선구적 역할을 할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 강조했다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 12th that it held a business agreement ceremony with Ganghwa-gun to support the education development special zone where education and the region coexist.
