(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구 청년공간 유유기지 부평이 오는 28일까지 청년들의 경제·금융 지식을 높이기 위한 경제교육 프로그램 ‘돈 워리!’ 참가자를 모집한다.

유유지기 버평에 따르면, 이번 교육은 유유기지 부평과 인천경제교육센터가 협력해 마련했다. 

재무 관리 방법, 주거 관리, 예적금 교육 등 청년들의 경제적 자립 지원과 합리적인 금융 생활을 실천할 수 있는 내용으로 구성될 예정이다.

프로그램은 무료이며, 다음 달 8일부터 28일까지 매주 화요일마다 열린다.

모집 인원은 20명이며, 부평구에 거주하거나 활동 중인 청년(모집 공고일 기준 만 19세에서 39세 사이)이라면 누구나 신청할 수 있다. 

신청은 유유기지 부평 누리집을 통해 가능하다.

유유기지 부평 관계자는 “사회 초년생과 자립 준비 청년을 위해 마련된 경제·금융 교육을 통해 올바른 경제생활과 실질적인 재무 관리에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

또한, 부평구 드림스타트가 오는 11월까지 사례관리 아동 중 로봇 만들기와 창의적인 과학 활동에 관심이 있는 아동 25명을 대상으로 ‘로봇교실’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

해당 프로그램은 오는 11월까지 총 24회기에 걸쳐 아동이 스스로 로봇을 제작하고, 제작한 로봇을 이용한 놀이를 하는 방식으로 진행된다. 

‘한울과학교육회’와 연계해 지난 2019년부터 7년간 이어져 왔으며, 아동 각자의 수준에 맞는 교육 구성으로 높은 만족도를 보였다.

드림스타트는 로봇 교실을 통해 아동들의 집중력 향상 및 로봇 완성을 통한 성취감 부여, 창작로봇 제작을 통한 창의력 향상 등의 효과를 기대하고 있다.

앞서 지난 8일 어울림센터에서 첫 수업이 열렸으며, 아동들이 직접 로봇을 만들어보는 시간을 가졌다.

첫 수업에 참여한 한 아동은 “지난해 처음 로봇을 만들었을 때보다 지금 훨씬 멋있는 것을 만들 수 있고, 연말에는 우리 반에서 제일 잘 만들 것 같다”며 성취감을 드러냈다.

길옥이 아동복지과장은 “단계별로 로봇을 만들면서 아동들이 스스로 발전하며, 성장할 수 있도록 돕겠다”며 “앞으로도 여러 경험을 통해 아이들이 성숙하게 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 부평구 드림스타트는 만 12세 이하의 취약계층 아동 중 다양한 욕구가 있는 성장기 아동에게 적합한 인지언어, 정서행동, 부모가족, 신체건강 영역의 맞춤형서비스 제공을 위해 노력하고 있다.
