(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 11일, 2024년 5월 2일 전공 진로특강에서 얼굴을 마주했던 인천대 법학부 재학생들과 유승민 전 국회의원이 오는 3월 19일 오후 3시 인천대학교 교수회관 3층 세미나실에서 9개월 만에 재회한다고 밝혔다.

인천대학교에 따르면, 법학부 소속 학생들의 전공 능력을 강화하면서 진로설계를 지원하고 법학전공이 사회에 끼치는 영향과 현실을 저명인사들과 소통하고자 마련한 2025 학년도 전공 진로특강 시리즈에 유승민 전 국회의원이 1번 타자로 나서는 것이다. 

2024년 전공 진로특강에서‘청년의 미래와 정치’를 주제로 강의하면서 “공정과 정의·평등·인간의 존엄 등 헌법이 지향하는 가치를 보수가 고민하고 거듭날 것”을 촉구했던 유승민 전 의원은 이번에‘헌법과 법치주의, 그리고 정치’를 주제로 인천대 법학부 학생들과 토론할 예정이다.

현재 무거운 국내 정세에 대한 유승민 전 의원의 인식과 해법, 그리고 법조계와 정치의 역할에 대해 두루두루 경청하면서 향후 정치적 진로와 모색에 대한 이야기도 이어질 것으로 예상된다.

이충훈 인천대학교 법학부장은 “저명인사가 참여하는 전공 진로특강을 통해 사회적인 아젠다에 대해 현실을 조망하면서 학생들 스스로 해법에 대해 고민할 수 있는 좋은 시간이 되기 바란다”고 전했다.
