(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 오는 14일부터 20일까지 1분기 어선 승선원 변동 미신고 일제단속을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

인천해경에 따르면, 어선출입항종합정보시스템에 등록된 선원과 실제 탑승인원이 다르면 해양사고 발생 시 구조현장에서 혼선이 빚어져 신속한 인명구조에 어려움이 있기 때문이다.

어선안전조업법에 따르면 어선 승선원 변동이 있는 경우 인근 해양경찰 파·출장소를 방문하거나 인터넷 또는 모바일을 통해 신고해야 한다.

승선원 변동 신고를 하지 않으면 1차 경고, 2차 10일 어업정지, 3차 15일 어업정지의 행정처분을 받는다.

인천해경 관계자는 “어선 승선원 변동 미신고 일제단속을 앞두고 지난 7일부터 13일까지 홍보와 계도기간을 가졌다”며 “승선원 명부는 인명구조 상황에서 매우 중요한 사항이기 때문에 변동 시 반드시 신고해야 한다”고 당부했다.
