(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 5일, 자동차 주행거리를 줄여 온실가스를 감축할 경우 인센티브를 지급하는 ‘탄소중립포인트제(자동차)’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, ‘탄소중립포인트제(자동차)’는 주행거리 감축 실적에 따라 최소 2만 원에서 최대 10만 원까지 인센티브를 지급하는 생활 속 온실가스 감축 실천 제도다.

올해는 오는 3월 10일부터 20일까지 선착순으로 910대의 ‘탄소중립포인트제(자동차)’ 참여 신청을 받는다. 

1차 모집에서 마감되지 않을 경우, 4월 7일부터 11일까지 추가 모집을 진행할 예정이다.

참여 대상은 부천시에 등록된 비사업용 승용·승합차(12인승 이하)이며, 법인이나 단체 소유 차량과 전기·하이브리드·수소차 등 환경친화적 자동차는 제외된다.

참여를 희망하는 시민은 ‘탄소중립포인트제(자동차)’ 누리집에서 회원가입하거나 재참여 신청 후, 문자로 전송된 링크를 통해 실시간 촬영한 차량번호판이 보이는 차량 전면 사진, 누적 주행거리(ODO)가 표시된 계기판 사진을 제출하면 된다.
