(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 8일, ‘장기요양 재택의료센터 3차 시범사업’을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 구는 앞서 구청에서 인천평화의료복지사회적협동조합 평화의원(이하 평화의원) 및 조경준내과의원과 ‘장기요양 재택의료센터 3차 시범사업’ 관련 업무 협약을 체결하며 3년 연속 사업 추진을 알렸다.

‘장기요양 재택의료센터 시범사업’은 거동이 불편해 병의원 방문이 어려운 장기요양 수급자의 가정으로 의사·간호사·사회복지사가 방문해, 진료와 간호서비스를 제공하는 사업이다.

부평구와 평화의원은 지난 2023년 1차 시범사업에 이어 지난해 2차 시범사업 공모에도 선정돼, 지난해 한 해 동안 총 89명의 장기요양 대상자에게 1천961건의 방문의료 및 돌봄서비스를 제공했다.

그 결과 우수기관으로 선정돼 별도의 심사없이 3차 시범사업을 진행하게 됐으며, 올해 조경준의원이 새로 사업에 참여해 총 세 기관이 협력하기로 했다.

이재광 평화의원 통합재택의료센터장은 “지난 2년간 우리 주변에 병원에 가지 못하는 의료돌봄 사각지대가 아직도 많이 있음을 체감했다”며 “올해도 다양한 분들이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 적극 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.

조경준 내과의원 병원장은 “이번 사업을 통해 대상자들이 양질의 의료서비스를 받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

차준택 구청장은 “앞으로도 구민들이 지역에서 건강하고 안정된 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 두 기관과의 협업을 강화하고 적극 지원하겠다”고 전했다.
