(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 2024년 한해 고향사랑기부제 모금액이 1억5천만원을 돌파하며 당초 목표액을 초과 달성했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 당초 목표액인 1억1천만원 대비 139% 초과 달성한 수치이며, 부평구는 강화군에 이어 인천 지역에서 1억5천만원 이상을 모금한 두 번째 지자체가 됐다.

이와 관련, 부평구는 지난해 기부 참여 활성화를 위해 지역 내 기업 및 단체, 자매결연 지자체와의 협력을 확대했다.

또, 부평풍물대축제 홍보부스 운영, 추석맞이 부평역 홍보 캠페인 등 적극적인 대면 홍보 활동을 펼치며 구 유튜브 채널 ‘부평것들’에 홍보 영상도 올려 많은 관심을 받았다.

이 밖에도 ‘인천탁주 찾아가는 양조장 막걸리 빚기 체험’, ‘부평풍물 닥종이 인형’ 등 부평구만의 특색을 담아낸 다양한 품목 16개를 추가했다. 이를 통해 총 47개 품목을 답례품으로 지정하며 기부자들의 답례품 선택 폭을 넓히고자 노력했다.

한편, 부평구는 고향사랑기금을 활용해 자매도시 문화교류 체험단, 창의융합 수학캠프, 장애아동 수영교실, 자립준비청년 취업준비지원, 장애인 이동용 보조기기 수리 지원 사업 등 올해 총 5개 사업을 진행할 계획이다.
