(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 7일, 학교도서관 공간 혁신을 위한 ‘공간 공감-2024 학교 도서관 공간혁신 사례집‧매뉴얼’을 발간했다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 사례집은 인천시교육청의 5대 교육정책 중 하나인 학교 도서관‧독서교육 활성화와 교육감 공약 과제인 학교 중심 독서교육 지원 강화의 일환으로 신설 학교 및 노후 학교 도서관의 독서환경 개선을 지원하고 공간혁신 사례를 확산하기 위해 제작됐다.

주요 내용은 학교 도서관의 이해, 학교 도서관 공간혁신 매뉴얼, 학교도서관 공간구성의 사례, 최근 3년간의 사업 현황 등으로 구성되었다. 

특히, 예산, 면적, 학교급별 사례를 세분화하고, 독서환경 개선 과정에 필요한 체크 리스트와 추진 절차를 제시하여 실질적인 가이드라인을 제공한다.

Incheon Office of Education publishes case studies and manual for school library space innovation

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 7th that it published ‘Space Empathy-2024 School Library Space Innovation Case Studies and Manual’ for school library space innovation.

According to Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, this case study was produced to support the improvement of reading environments in new and old school libraries and to spread space innovation cases as part of the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education’s five major educational policies, the revitalization of school libraries and reading education, and the superintendent’s pledge to strengthen support for school-centered reading education.

The main contents consist of understanding school libraries, school library space innovation manual, cases of school library space composition, and the status of projects over the past three years.

In particular, it provides practical guidelines by detailing cases by budget, area, and school level, and suggesting checklists and procedures necessary for improving the reading environment.
