(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 11일, 어 르신의 낙상예방 등 안전하고 편리한 주거환경 조성을 위해 ‘1인 가구 어르신 주택안전 지원사업’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 이는 시가 2026년 전체인구의 20%가 65세 이상인 초고령사회를 목전에 두고 2021년부터 전국 최초로 소득재산 선정기준 없이 75세 이상 1인 가구를 대상으로 추진해온 사업이다.

질병관리청이 실시한 ‘응급실손상환자심층조사(2022)’에 따르면 낙상환자 중 75세 이상이 23.0%로 가장 큰 비중을 차지하며, 75세 이상 낙상환자 중 63.5%는 가장 오래 머무르고 안전해야 할 주택 내에서 안전사고가 발생했다. 

특히 주택 내에서도 화장실, 침실, 거실에서 미끄러져 넘어지는 사고가 다수 발생한 것으로 확인됐다.

이러한 낙상사고 예방을 위해 ‘1인 가구 어르신 주택안전 지원사업’을 추진해 화장실 안전바, 미끄럼방지 매트, 핸드레일을 중점적으로 설치한다.

또한, 간단하지만 놓치기 쉬운 화재감지기와 가스안전차단기를 설치할 뿐만 아니라 LED등, 조명리모컨, 콘센트 및 수전기구 교체까지 다양한 소규모 주거환경개선 서비스를 제공한다.

관련 예산은 부천시 노인복지기금 7,250만원으로 운영되고 있다. 

해당 사업은 2021년 325가구, 2022년 342가구, 2023년 402가구를 대상으로 거주공간 내 안전사고 예방과 편의 증진을 위한 보편적인 어르신 집수리 서비스를 제공해 큰 호응을 받고 있다. 

올해 상반기 신청기간은 오는 4월 15일부터 19일까지이고 접수는 37개 동 행정복지센터에서 받는다. 

서비스 범위는 1가구당 인건비와 재료비를 포함해 25만원 이하로 제공하고 신청자가 희망하는 경우 재료비만 본인이 부담하는 조건으로 추가 서비스도 지원받을 수 있다.
