(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 11일, 공공데이터를 활용한 다양한 아이디어와 창의적인 비즈니스 모델을 발굴하기 위해 ‘제10회 인천시 공공데이터 활용 경진대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 공모분야는 ‘아이디어 기획’과 ‘제품 및 서비스 개발’ 2개 부문으로, ‘제품 및 서비스 개발’ 부문은 신청접수까지 시연이 가능한 제품 및 서비스만 신청이 가능하다.

대한민국 국민이면 누구나 개인 또는 팀 단위로 참여할 수 있으며, 5월 31일까지 이메일로 접수하면 된다. 

1차 서류심사에서는 독창성, 실현 가능성, 발전 가능성 등을 평가해, 2차 발표심사 대상자를 선정할 예정이다. 

2차 발표심사는 7월 5일에 개최할 예정으로, 수상작 12팀을 선정해 총 2,800만 원 규모의 상금과 인천시장상을 수여한다. 

특히 각 부문별 최우수팀에게는 상금 600만 원이 수여되고, 행정안전부가 주최하는 ‘제12회 범정부 공공데이터 활용 창업경진대회’ 본선에 진출할 수 있는 자격이 주어진다.

지난해 행안부 주최 본선에 참여한 인천시 대표팀은 대통령상과 중기부상을 수상하는 성과를 거뒀다. 

대통령상 수상팀은 공공데이터 등을 분석해 매물의 위험성(가격, 거래정보)을 평가하고 안심거래 점수를 제공하는 등 부동산 사기를 예방할 수 있는 아이디어를 선보였다.

이번 대회는 인하대, 인천대, 인천도시공사, 인천관광공사, 인천환경공단, 인천국제공항공사, 인천항만공사, 인천창조경제혁신센터와 공동으로 주최해 시상 규모를 확대하고 시민참여를 높일 계획이다.

On the 11th, Incheon City announced that it would hold the ‘10th Incheon City Public Data Utilization Contest’ to discover various ideas and creative business models using public data.

According to Incheon City, the contest fields are divided into two categories: ‘Idea Planning’ and ‘Product and Service Development’. In the ‘Product and Service Development’ category, only products and services that can be demonstrated until the application is accepted can apply.

Any citizen of the Republic of Korea can participate as an individual or as a team, and applications must be submitted by email by May 31.

In the first document review, originality, feasibility, and development potential will be evaluated, and candidates for the second presentation review will be selected.

The second presentation screening is scheduled to be held on July 5, and 12 winning teams will be selected and awarded a total of 28 million won in prize money and the Incheon Mayor's Award.

In particular, the best team in each category will be awarded a prize of 6 million won and will be eligible to advance to the finals of the ‘12th Government-wide Public Data Startup Competition’ hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

The President's Award winning team presented ideas to prevent real estate fraud, such as analyzing public data, assessing the risk of properties (price, transaction information) and providing a safe transaction score.

This competition will be jointly hosted by Inha University, Incheon National University, Incheon Urban Development Corporation, Incheon Tourism Organization, Incheon Environment Corporation, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Incheon Port Authority, and Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center to expand the scale of the awards and increase citizen participation.
