(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 15일부터 5월 31일까지  청년들의 장기 재직 근속 유도를 위한 ‘인천 재직청년 복지포인트 사업’ 참여자를 선착순 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

인천시에 따르면, 인천형 청년 근로장려 인센티브 지원의 일환인 이번 사업은 조기 퇴사의 주요 요인인 복리후생 불만요인을 해소하기 위한 것으로, 청년들의 근로의욕 고취 및 장기근속을 장려하기 위한 사업이다.

2018년 전국 최초로 시작된 이번 사업은, 그간 7천여 명의 청년들의 복리후생 개선을 위해 힘썼으며 매년 90%를 넘는 높은 만족도를 보여줬다.

특히 올해는 현실적인 재직 여건을 고려해 지원자격을 완화하고 지원인원도 확대했다.

관내 중소·제조기업에서 3개월 이상(주 35시간 이상) 재직하고 있으면서, 신청일 기준 3개월 평균 급여가 330만 원 이하인 18~39세 인천시 거주 청년이 대상이다. 다만, 종전에 포인트를 지급받은 청년은 제외된다.

모집인원을 지난해 1,500명에서 2,000명으로 늘렸고, 신청자들의 편의를 위해 구비서류 간소화를 위해 힘썼다.

‘인천유스톡톡 인천청년포털’에서 온라인 및 모바일로 편리하게 지원할 수 있으며, 선정된 청년은 1년간 분기별 30만 원씩 총 120만 원을 지급받을 수 있다.

1차 포인트의 경우 인천e음 소비쿠폰으로 받아 오프라인 사용처에서 사용할 수 있으며, 2~4차 포인트의 경우 온라인 복지몰 사이트에서 생활 및 외식, 문화생활, 건강관리, 자기개발 등을 위해 이용할 수 있다.
