(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 28일, KT와 협력해 인천 관내 다문화학생의 한국어 학습과 한국문화 적응을 위한 랜선 한글교실 운영을 지원한다고 밝혔다. 

인천교육청에 따르면, 프로그램은 KT의 온라인 교육 플랫폼 ‘랜선에듀’를 통해 6개월간 진행하며, 학생들의 심리적‧정서적 지원을 위해 아동심리 전문가가 멘토가 되어 1:2 멘토링 형태로 운영하며 참여 학생에게는 교육용 태블릿과 교구재 키트를 제공한다. 

교육과정은 학생들의 체계적인 한국어 습득과 기초학력 신장, 학교생활‧한국사회 적응 능력 향상에 도움이 되도록 한글 학습, 정서지능 향상 프로그램, 한국사 배우기, 직업 체험 등으로 구성했다.

한편, 지난 27일에는 인천문남초등학교에서 중도입국‧외국인학생 20명을 대상으로 랜선 한글교실을 진행하고 스마트패드 등 교구전달식과 멘토-멘티 만남의 시간을 가졌다.

Incheon Office of Education cooperates with KT to support operation of online Korean language classes for multicultural students

On the 28th, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it would cooperate with KT to support the operation of online Korean language classes for multicultural students in Incheon to learn Korean and adapt to Korean culture.

According to the Incheon Office of Education, the program will be conducted for six months through KT's online education platform ‘Lansun Edu’, and will be operated in a 1:2 mentoring format with child psychology experts serving as mentors to provide psychological and emotional support to students.

Participating students will be provided with an educational tablet and teaching materials kit.

The curriculum consists of learning Korean, an emotional intelligence improvement program, learning Korean history, and job experience to help students systematically acquire Korean, develop basic academic skills, and improve their ability to adapt to school life and Korean society.

Meanwhile, on the 27th, an online Korean language class was held for 20 foreign students who entered the country midway at Munnam Elementary School in Incheon, and there was a ceremony for handing out teaching aids such as smart pads and a meeting between mentors and mentees.
