(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 9일, 학교 현장의 업무 경감을 위해 추진한 ‘학교 현장지원 정책'이 전국 단위 공식 조사에서 최고 수준의 평가를 받았다고  밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 한국교육개발원(KEDI)이 주관한 전국 학교지원 전담기구 만족도 조사에서 인천시교육청학교지원단 ‘학교 현장지원 정책'이 업무지원 전반 만족도, 행정업무 부담 감소 체감도,직무만족 향상 체감도 등 주요 지표에서 모두 전국 1위를 기록했다.

이번 성과는 학교지원단이 학교 현장 지원 정책의 실행 주체로서 역할을 충실히 수행한 결과로 평가된다. 

학교지원단은 그동안 교무학사 업무지원, 학교행정 업무지원, 학교 교육 환경 지원, 인력 채용 관리와 학교시설 안전 점검 등 일선 학교의 교육활동을 뒷받침하며 학교가 수업과 생활지도에 온전히 집중할 수 있는 환경을 조성해 왔다.

특히 이러한 성과의 중심에는 인천시교육청 전기관이 함께 실행한 ‘인천 학교현장지원 방안 100선’이 있다. 

학교 현장의 목소리로 과제를 발굴하고, 실무 부서와의 협의를 통해 실행 방안을 도출하여 현장 체감형 업무 경감을 실현해 온 것이다.

도성훈 교육감은 "이번 전국 1위 달성은 인천시교육청 모두가 하나가 되어 학교 현장을 지원한 노력이 실질적인 변화로 이어진 결과"라며 "앞으로도 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울여 학교가 교육활동에만 전념할 수 있는 든든한 지원 체계를 만들어 가겠다"고 말했다.
