(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천연구원이 7일 오전 10시께  2026년 사업계획을 확정하고, 이를 시민과 언론에 공유하기 위해 인천시청 브리핑룸에서 ‘2026년 연구사업계획 공유를 위한 신년 기자회견’을 개최했다. 

인천연구원에 따르면, 이번 기자회견은 연구원의 2025년 주요 성과와 2026년 사업계획을 종합적으로 설명하는 자리로 마련됐다.

개원 30주년을 맞이한 인천연구원은 2026년을 지난 30년간의 연구성과를 토대로 새로운 미래 30년을 준비하는 전환의 해로 설정했다. 

이에 따라 2026년 사업 목표를 “글로벌 도시 인천을 선도하고, 시정 현안을 해결하는 실천적 정책 개발”로 정하고, 미래 아젠다 발굴 및 시정 선도 연구 강화, 시정 협력 및 지원 기능 고도화, 시민 소통과 대외협력 강화 등을 중점적으로 추진할 계획이다.

○ 미래 아젠다 발굴 및 시정 선도 연구 강화

인천연구원은 핵심연구과제 ‘인천 정책로드맵 2040’을 중심으로 글로벌 도시 경쟁력 강화를 위한 미래 전략과 실천과제를 제시한다. 

원도심 주거․문화․일자리 등 활성화 전략, 신도시와 원도심 동반성장을 위한 경제산업 전략, 행정구역 개편에 따른 공간구조 변화 대응 전략, 탄소중립 인천형 시민 실천 전략, 섬 활성화 등 해양도시 특화 전략 등 인천의 중장기 핵심 의제를 선도적으로 연구한다.
