(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 지난 2일부터  고령화가 심각해지고 있는 제조업 분야의 젊은 활력을 불어넣기 위해 ‘2026년 인천광역시 서구 청년기업 인증’ 참여기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

서구에따르면, 구는 ‘인천광역시 서구 청년기업 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례’에 따라 ‘청년기업 인증제도’를 시행 중이며, 대상은 19세 이상 39세 이하 청년이 대표로 운영하는 서구 관내 중소 제조기업이다. 

‘청년기업’으로 인증되면 서구 중소기업 육성기금 융자지원 선정 시 0.5% 이자를 추가로 지원받아 최대 2.5%까지 이자 차액을 보전받게 된다.

또한, 해외 무역사절단 파견 지원, 해외전시회 개별참가 지원, 국내 전시회 개별참가 지원, 해외지사화 지원, 중소기업 기술지원단 운영사업 등 각종 기업 지원사업 신청 시 가산점을 부여받는다. 

청년 기업 인증을 신청하면 담당 공무원이 현장을 직접 찾아가 소재지와 업종 및 청년이 대표로 기업을 운영하는지 등 적격 여부를 심사한 후 최종 선정한다. 

서구 관계자는 “많은 청년 기업이 참여하여 청년 기업 인증을 적극 활용해 줄 것을 부탁드린다”며 “청년 기업이 서구 전체 산업에 젊은 활력을 불어넣길 기대한다”고 말했다.
