(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구시설관리공단이 2일, 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 공동으로 주관하는 ‘2025년 지역사회공헌 인정제’에서 A+등급을 획득했다고 밝혔다. 

공단에 따르면, 지역사회공헌 인정제는 공공기관과 기업이 지역사회 문제 해결과 사회적 가치 창출에 기여한 공헌도를 종합 평가해 공식적으로 인정하는 제도로, 공단은 총 5개 등급 중 두 번째로 높은 A+ 등급을 획득했다. 

인증기간은 2026년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일까지이며, 공단은 지난 11월 27일에 인증 및 표창 수여식에 참여해 인증패와 인천광역시장상 표창을 수여받았다.

이번 평가에서 공단은 ESG 기반 친환경 경영 실천, 도농상생 활동, 지역사회 협력 네트워크 구축, 지역문제 해결 프로그램 운영, 투명한 거버넌스 체계 등 대부분의 영역에서 높은 점수를 받았다. 

특히 ‘네트워크(S3)’와 ‘프로그램(S4)’, ‘투명경영(G)’ 항목은 전국 상위 수준으로 평가됐다. 

박성민 이사장은 “공단의 다양한 사회공헌 활동이 공식적으로 인정받아 매우 뜻깊다.”며, “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 ESG 경영을 지속적으로 강화하고, 주민에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 사회적 가치 실현에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 공단은 매년 인증 갱신을 위한 체계를 갖추고 있으며, 인증마크 활용을 통한 기관 브랜드 가치 제고, 지역 네트워크 신뢰 기반 강화 등 사회적 책임 활동을 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
