이어진 협약식에서는 인천 바이오산업의 지속적인 성장을 위한 두 건의 핵심 협약이 체결되어 이목을 집중시켰다.

첫 번째 협약인 “인천-셀트리온 공동성장 협약”은 송도를 중심으로 한 기술 및 연구개발(R&D) 생태계를 강화하고, 생산·공급망에 더해 연구개발, 오픈이노베이션, 글로벌 공동연구를 추진하는 내용을 담았다.
