(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 1일, 교육부가 주관한 ‘2025년 직업계고 학점제 운영 우수학교’ 평가에서 인천 직업계고 5개교가 선정돼 전국 최다 실적을 거뒀다고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 교육부는 전국 직업계고 571교를 대상으로 운영 계획서와 결과 보고서를 심사해 교육부 장관 표창 10교, 한국직업능력연구원장 표창 10교 등 총 20교를 선정했다. 

인천에서는 인천전자마이스터고, 인천미래생활고, 정석항공과학고, 영화국제관광고 등 4교가 장관 표창을, 재능고가 연구원장 표창을 받았다.

인천은 지난해 최우수교 1교, 우수교 3교가 선정된 데 이어 올해는 최우수교가 4교로 확대되며 전국 1위의 성과를 기록했다.

이번 결과는 인천 직업계고가 학점제를 기반으로 학생 맞춤형 교육과정, 전문교과 코스제, 융합·신산업 분야 교육 확대 등 현장 중심 교육과정을 적극 운영해 온 성과로 평가된다.

인천시교육청은 학점제 전용 첨단 교과교실 구축, ‘인천형 안심취업 10년 보장제’ 등 학생 맞춤형 취업 지원 강화, 신산업 분야 중심 학과 재구조화, 산업체 연계 직무 중심 교육과정 운영 등을 꾸준히 추진해 왔다.

특히, 장관상 수상교들은 학과 특성 기반 세부 전공 운영, 꿈두레 공동교육과정, 산업체·대학 연계 교육, 학생 선택권 확대 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
