(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 지난 25일 인천항 여객터미널 및 해상 정박지에서 행안부 주관 READY Korea 4차 훈련을 병행한 해상 복합사고 현장훈련(수난대비기본훈련)을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

중부해경청에 따르면, 이번 훈련은 바다에 짙은 안개가 낀 상태에서 GPS 전파혼신으로 시야 확보가 어려운 상황에서 차도선과 어선이 정박 중이던 군함에 연쇄적으로 충돌하는 해상 복합사고를 가정해 실시했다.

민·관·군 등 27개 기관이 참여해 함선 24척, 헬기 4대를 투입했으며, 사고 대응부터 인명 구조까지 전 과정을 실전처럼 재현했다.

훈련은 충돌로 다수의 사상자가 발생하고 차도선에 적재된 전기차 화재 및 해상 표류자가 발생한 상황을 가정해, 수상과 헬기를 활용한 항공구조 등 다양한 구조 임무를 부여하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 

이를 통해 유관기관 간 협력체계를 점검하고 해상 수색·구조 대응역량을 한 단계 강화하는 계기가 됐다. 

특히, 선박 내 제한된 공간에서 발생하는 전기차 화재 대응을 중점으로 훈련을 실시 했으며, 화재 발생시 냉각조치를 유지한 상태로 육지 접안 후 진화하는 절차를 실제 상황과 동일하게 진행했다. 

이번에는 경비함정을 이용하여 차도선 내 화재 전기차를 견인해서 해상 투하하여 진압하는 현장훈련을 실험적으로 실시한바 보다 효과적인 전기차 화재 대응 방안을 제시하였다고 평가됐다.

중부해경청 관계자는 “해상 사고 발생시 구조난이도 및 인명피해율이 높은 동절기를 대비하여 유관기관 합동 해상훈련을 실시하였다. 앞으로도 시기별 필요한 훈련을 실시하여 소중한 국민의 생명과 재산을 지킬 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
