(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 24일, 2025년 해상종합훈련을 마무리 하며, 최우수 경비함정에 태안해양경찰서 P-111정을, 최우수 파출소는 태안해양경찰서 모항파출소를 각각 선발 했다고 밝혔다. 

중부해경청에 따르면, 지난 2월부터 10월까지 약 9개월 동안 인천·평택·태안·보령해경서와 서해5도특별경비단 소속 함정 54척과 24개 파출소 대상으로 훈련 결과 70%, 실적 30%를 반영해 8개 항목으로 평가 실시했다.

함정 분야 최우수 함정으로 선발된 태안해경서 P-111정(정장 김대원)은 각종 훈련 평가, 현장대응 실적, 성과관리, 자체사고 예방 등에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

파출소 부문에서는 해상치안, 성과관리, 교육훈련 실적 등에서 우수한 성적을 거둔 태안해경서 모항파출소(소장 안용희)가 최우수 파출소로 선발됐다. 

이와 함께 서해5도특별경비단 3019함(대형함정), 503함(중형함정), 태안해경서 P-107정(소형함정)을 우수 함정으로, 보령해경서 대천파출소를 우수 파출소로 각각 선발됐다.

오상권 청장은 “이번 선발된 최우수 함정과 파출소에 표창 수여, 성과 가산점 부여 등의 혜택을 제공할 예정이며, 내년에는 훈련평가 결과를 종합적으로 분석하여 교육훈련 계획에 반영하고, 중부권 해상 치안과 해양 안전을 더욱더 굳건히 하기 위한 현장부서 교육훈련 강화에 최선을 다하겠다” 고 설명했다.
