가정 형편이 어려운 학생들을 보살피는 학교는

세계 어디에서나 세인트 페트릭 살라시온과 다르지 않다.

몰타에도 여러 사정과 이유로 아이들에게

무료로 교육을 제공하는 학교가 있다.

필자는 이 학교에서 매달 한 번 봉사 활동으로 오리가미를 가르치고 있다.

에너지가 넘치는 아이들과 함께하는 시간은 참 즐겁고,

대부분의 아이들을 기억하고 있다.
지금은 겨울방학이라 수업이 잠시 멈추지만,

2월에 다시 시작될 예정이다. 오리가미 수업에 집중하면

무척 뛰어난 작품을 만들어내는 아이들도 있다.

이 가르침이 아이들의 집중력 향상에 작은 도움이 되기를 바라는 마음이다.

Schools that care for children from disadvantaged backgrounds are

the same everywhere in the world, just like St. Patrick Salesian.

In Malta as well, schools provide free education to children due

to various circumstances.

I volunteer at one of these schools once a month, teaching origami.
I truly enjoy the time spent with these energetic children,

and I remember most of their faces. Although classes are currently

On hold for the winter break, they will resume in February.

When they focus, some children create remarkably skillful origami pieces.

I sincerely hope that these lessons help them develop stronger concentration.

家庭の事情で困難を抱える子どもたちを支える学校は、

世界のどこにあってもセント・パトリック・サレジアンと変わりません。

マルタにも、さまざまな理由で子どもたちに

無償で教育を提供している学校があります。

私はその学校で、月に一度ボランティアとして折り紙を教えています。
元気いっぱいの子どもたちと過ごす時間はとても楽しく、

多くの子どもたちを覚えています。現在は冬休みのため授業はお休みですが、

2月から再開される予定です。

集中すると、見事な作品を作り上げる子どももいます。

折り紙の授業が、子どもたちの集中力向上に少しでも役立てばと願っています。
